Well known, American singer songwriter, cowboy poet & troubadour, multi-instrumental musician, Ronnie Brandt is appearing live in our community Libraries throughout the United States, and he is singing songs. Songs that tell stories… American stories of our nation’s History.
Cowboy Songs from the likes of Cowboy heros, Hank Snow, Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Pete Seeger, Guy Clark, Woody Guthrie, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Selections from Carl Sandburg’s American Song Bag, Nobel prize winner, Bob Dylan and other great American Songwriters / Authors. Tales that tie into our nations history and our school’s social studies curriculum. There are even some contemporary artsits that make their way into the programs performance,

There are tales of Freight trains, the pony express, our American Flag, texting versus writing letters, The Alamo, Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware, Folk Lore and Legends. Touching on topics like landing on the moon and the promise of an America that is still reaching for the stars.
This program is approximately 1 hour in length and suitable for all ages 1-99 (& beyond)
